Game Name Flip
Players role

Player will use the mouse and/or arrow keys to move their avatar and select items.

Game objective To score points by matching correct items when 2 are flipped.this context is for words of opposite meaning
Learning objective

This game addresses language awareness as well as some cultural awareness At the end of this game, player will be able to:

  • match words to thier opposite in a given context
  • match words to others of similar meaning in a given context

Also it was suggested that using this tile game they could rearrange numbers in sequence (increasing/decreasing); days of the week; months of the year??

Description of Play

Player is presented with a wall of bricks (castle wall) they must get through this wall by making it all the game colour, To do this, they have to match the words of opposite meaning by flipping the tiles. everytime they get it right the colour changes. When all are right the wall become one solid colour and they can get through. If they fail then the game is over.
