Counter-Strike
Preface
Everyone is familiar with Counter-Strike and must have played CS before, so I’ll quickly go though the introduction and give a short review of the game.
Introduction
Counter-Strike, the world’s number one online action game series, is a first-person shooter developed by “Valve Software”, the modification of the Half-Life series. This team-oriented online shooter has two roles which are terrorists and counter-terrorists. The two roles play against one another in round-based combat set. Using the power of the “Source” engine, the original Counter-Strike has been completely remade as Counter-Strike: Source—offering upgraded graphics, levels, and the implementation of a new physics engine.
Game controls
Movement: W Move FORWARD or Move UP a Ladder; A Move BACKWARD or Move DOWN a Ladder; S Strafe LEFT; D Strafe RIGHT. Running is the default movement action, but this action makes noise when you do so, however, it’s the fastest way to move in this game. Walking is slower but does not make noise. Walking is accomplished by holding down Shift) Key. Jumping&Crouching: Simply press the space button and Ctrl button. Aimming and fireing: Move your mouse and use the Cross-Hair to aim your enemy. Left-Click is fireing. The left button also enables you use knife, HE, FLASH. Ignore other controls here...
The Gameplay
There are three scenarios depending on the map types. De_: Bomb Defusal. In this scinario, the task of terrorists is to plant the C4 in specifid zones, Counter-Strikes is going to defuse the bomb. Counter-Strikes will win if defusing the bomb within the expected time or kill all terrorists, on other cases, terrorists will win. Cs_: Hostage Rescue. Counter-Strikes should make a way to rescue hostages safely. As_:Assassination. Ignore here...
The Technology
Counter-Strike is built on the Half-Life engine, graphics quality is not so good because this game is built on 2001, lots of visual effects like headshot, are roughness. But sound in this game is really nice, different guns have different sound. AK 47, AWP, Desert Eagle...these guns have great execution and sound.
